My tours

My aim is to introduce you to London and help you get an understanding of its history, culture and character in a way that meets your needs as an individual or family group. My bespoke tours means that you get to see what you want, when it suits you and with me as a Blue Badge Guide you get to skip the lines too. 

A tour with me will be relaxed, fun, enjoyable and informative, based on the extensive knowledge I have and will share with you.

You can explore Royal London, see Buckingham Palace, visit the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace or Kensington Palace. Take a tour of the British Museum, The National Gallery of Art or the Cabinet War Rooms or take a local walking tour such as "High Society"- a meander around Mayfair.

Let me help you plan your time in London and give you the best possible guiding experience that you will not forget!

I can take you around all the best known sites such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral and the British Museum but I can also show you hidden sights like the medieval lanes of the City of London, the churches built after the Great Fire of London in 1666 or the remains of the Roman wall and amphitheatre. Or we can go up to roof gardens of buildings for a fabulous view of the city.

A must see visit in London is to Westminster Abbey where King Charles III was crowned in May 2023 and where the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II took place and was watched by millions around the world in September 2022. It is where the wedding of William, the Prince of Wales and Princess Katharine took place. I can take you to the best place to see the Changing of the Guard, and explain what's going on in the ceremony and see Buckingham Palace. We can stroll along the Mall - the Royal processional way - and see buildings such as St James' Palace and hear the history and stories behind them. We can take a peek at the soldiers behind the gates of Clarence House where King Charles and Queen Camilla live. 

Sometimes you'll get more out of your visit  if there is something special to you that you particularly want to see. My knowledge of London and its surrounding area is extensive so it's always a pleasure for me to help. I can help you plan your stay in London with suggestions for things to do, see and eat and which places are best seen with a guide and which sites can be visited without one. Tours can be booked at a half day rate for any time up to four hours and finishing at 1pm or for a full day which is usually 9am till 4pm or longer if the tour is out of London.

 If you want something more special there is an initial fee before I can start as a way of dealing with the high volumes of enquiries I receive.
